Day 1: Guwhati(Assam)

Arrive Guwhati, transferred to  hotel, check in and day at leisure . After Lunch you will set out for a cultural visit to the Kamakshya Shakti temple, Assam Craft Emporium and Umananda temple which is located on the smallest Island named Peacock Island on Brahmaputra river. Overnight you will stay at Hotel Dynasty or Hotel Landmark.

Day 2: Manas Tiger Reserve(Assam):

From Guwahati your trip begins with a brief introduction to Brahmaputra – one of the greatest river systems in the world that flows through three countries – China, India and Bangladesh! And finally you reach Manas – a landscape that cannot be described without visiting it! After checking in at Florican Jungle Cottage, you will be greeted by your hosts with a small traditional reception ceremony. Your local trip guide will de-brief you about the project and the tour. Overnight at Florican Jungle Cottage. 

Day 03: Manas Tiger Reserve(Assam):

In the morning you will set out for a daylong wildlife and patrolling expedition with our conservation team in the park. You will explore the Eastern core of the National Park and visit patrolling camps, species conservation and monitoring centers.

You will return to camp by evening greeted with tea and snacks and ‘infotainment’ by one of the coordinators of the project.  A hearty meal of local cooking from the village’s organic farm will end your day at Florican Jungle Cottage.

Day 04: Manas Tiger Reserve(Assam):

After a filling breakfast you will commence your full day of Game and Bird touring in the park. A local conservator and naturalist will lead the trip. Picnic lunch will be served.

Back to camp in the evening where you are invited for an evening experience at the local cultural programme (Bagurumba) performed by the villagers. The dance and the songs tell the story of the local Bodos and their long association with Manas and its wilderness.

Dinner and overnight at Florican Jungle Cottage.

Day 05: Manas Tiger Reserve (Assam) –  Guwahati:

After breakfast you will enjoy a guided Village Walk where you will have the opportunity to interact further with the local villagers.  You will experience wonderful encounters learning about their lifestyle, local crafts, weaving tradition, rice beer making, cuisines and even a bullock cart ride.

After lunch you will be transferred back to Guwahati. Overnight in Guwahati.

Day 06:

Transfer to airport and depart for Calcutta/Delhi.After Breakfast check out and transferred to Airport/Railway station for your return journey.
